Designed home. Natural light. Fast turnaround.

I'm Megan Ahlin. I create content for home brands — furniture, lighting, appliances, textiles — shot entirely in my own home. You're not booking an audience. You're booking the set.

Who's On Camera

Megan Ahlin

I'm the one on camera, and the house is mine. I style it, shoot it, and edit it myself — which means no location fee, no rental calendar, and the same rooms waiting whenever you need a reshoot or another round of hooks.

Sample

One house. Different ways to sell home.

Self-directed concept work created inside Ahlin House to show how home products can be styled, demonstrated and translated into different creative formats. None of the work shown here was commissioned, and no featured brand is presented as a client.

One shoot can become multiple usable assets — hero creative, creator-led edits, paid-social variations, organic versions, cutdowns, b-roll and stills. Deliverables are built around how your team actually plans to use the content.

The House

One location. Many rooms.

Treat this like a location package: five shot-ready rooms, natural light mapped by hour, a neutral palette that flatters almost any colorway.

Foyer
Direct sun across the floor, midday.

Round travertine table, antique mirror, oak floors, and a clear sightline into the dining and living rooms. The first surface anything gets styled on — and the one frame that shows a brand the whole house at once.

Entry foyer with a round travertine table, large antique carved mirror, and white oak floors, with sightlines into the dining and living rooms
Living room with white oak ceiling beams, two linen sofas, a fireplace with brass sconces, and windows on multiple walls
Living Room
East-facing, with windows on three sides.

East, south and north exposure in one room, which means usable light from early morning through late afternoon — and a choice of what kind. Plaster arch, wide oak floors, and a lot of deliberately open floor for a rug, a chair, or a floor lamp to land in.

Kitchen
North light — soft, even, and it doesn't move.

No hard shadows and no color shift between morning and afternoon, so a product looks the same at 9am as it does at 4pm. Taj Mahal quartzite counters, white oak and brass, and a soapstone island with room to work on.

Kitchen with white oak glass-front cabinetry, Taj Mahal quartzite counters, brass hardware, a plaster range hood, and a soapstone island
Primary bedroom with a linen upholstered bed, layered neutral bedding, plaster walls, and a pair of ceramic table lamps
Primary Bedroom
Soft, diffused light all day.

Deliberately unbusy. Neutral bedding, bare nightstands, plaster walls — nothing in frame competing with what you send. Textiles and lamps read true to color here.

Dining Room
Direct window light.

One large surface, kept clear on purpose. Tablescapes, product spreads, serveware, and the before-and-after of a fully styled table.

Dining room with a dark wood table, linen slipcovered chairs, iron candle chandelier, and an arched opening to the living room
Rooms Ready For You

The before, waiting on your product.

These spots are unstyled on purpose. If your product belongs in one of them, I'll build the room around it — and film the transformation, before through after.

A bare double-hung window with no curtains, framed by a plaster arch, in a neutral living room with white oak floors
The Bare Window
This window is waiting for the right curtains.
A dark fluted wood dresser with a completely bare top, set against an empty limewashed plaster wall beside a window seat
The Bare Dresser
A cleared surface and the empty wall above it. Two placements in one frame.
A large empty limewashed plaster wall at the top of a staircase, with a pleated pendant light and painted railing
The Blank Wall
Ten feet of bare plaster at the top of the stairs. Art, a mirror, something big.
A corner painted deep green with panelled millwork, a grey tufted armchair, and white oak floors in low directional light
The Dark Room
The one room that isn’t warm and pale. For a product that needs contrast behind it.

Make something that belongs in one of these spots? Tell me — I'll show you the room around it.
